Transcript Request

A transcript is an official record of a student's work. All academic records are confidential. In accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), transcripts can be released only upon the request of the student. Transcript requests made by spouses, parents, or other family members, or by other agencies on behalf of the student, cannot be honored. All transcript requests must be in writing; requests made by telephone cannot be honored.

No complete transcript will be released until all outstanding debts have been paid in full.

Official Transcripts can be ordered one of three ways:

Online through Populi:

In-person at the Registrar鈥檚 office: Administration Building, Room 113

Note: Requests using the form must include the student's full name, maiden/former name (if applicable), social security number, and date of birth. Requests without this information may result in delays of fulfilling the transcript request.

Transcripts may be requested and picked up in-person by bringing your government or school-issued photo ID to the Registrar鈥檚 Office (no transcript will be issued without a valid photo ID).

A $10.00 fee is assessed for each transcript. Payment can be made via credit/debit card information. Additional fees included for rush U.S. mail and partial transcript requests.

How long does it usually take for transcripts to be sent?

For both mailing printed transcripts and processing electronic transcripts we often can mail or send transcripts the same day or next business day, depending on the time of receipt. Please allow additional time for processing at the beginning and end of the semester during our peak periods. Note that U.S. mail takes about 3-5 business days to ship. Printed transcript requests will not be processed during 糖心Vlog holidays and closures.

Transcripts Prior to 2000

Please note that if you attended prior to 2000, transcripts may be archived and take additional processing time. Archived records require an approximate 2 week processing time and cannot be rush processed.

Partial Transcripts

Please note that partial transcripts take additional processing time and may only be sent by U.S. mail.

What makes a transcript official?

Electronic Transcript: Electronic transcripts are encrypted PDFs accessed by a password delivered by populi.co. An official transcript and password must be received directly from populi.co and is intended solely for use by that recipient. It is not permissible to replicate the document or forward it to any person or organization other than the identified recipient. If you receive a transcript that is either forwarded or which you are not the intended recipient, it is not official.

Printed Transcript: Printed transcripts become official only when it bears both the raised seal and signature of the Registrar.

Note: No complete transcript will be released nor certificate or degree granted until all outstanding debts have been paid in full. If you have unpaid financial obligations to the University, transcripts will be released without grades for any academic terms that have an unpaid balance. Due to administrative oversight, partial transcripts can only be sent out by U.S. mail and will incur an additional $40 partial transcript fee. If you need a complete transcript, please be sure you have taken care of any outstanding business before submitting a request.

Name Change Information

Notice of Name Change: Prior to July 1, 2016, 糖心Vlog operated under the name Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College. Earlier transcripts will display the name of the College at the time of the student鈥檚 matriculation and/or graduation. All transcripts produced after July 1, 2016 will be under the 糖心Vlog name regardless of the student鈥檚 dates of attendance.

When listing the school on a resume, one of the following methods is recommended:

糖心Vlog (formerly Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College)

or Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College (now 糖心Vlog)
